Drifted against a typical agency

The differences are structural rather than a matter of talent. We publish the fee. The number agreed on the first call goes into the contract. There is no account manager between you and the people doing the work. Notice is thirty days. The accounts were always yours. A typical agency does one or two of those. Few do all five.

In detail

Five differences, stated plainly

A typical agencyDrifted
The feeQuoted after a discovery call, often with a setup chargePublished: $2,000 a month for one discipline, $4,000 for the full loop
The targetGrowth, awareness, engagementOne number, agreed on the first call and written into the contract
Who you talk toAn account manager who relays to the teamThe people doing the work, including the founder
The termAn annual contract, sometimes with an exit feeThirty days’ notice, no minimum term
The accountsSometimes opened in the agency’s nameYours from the first day; we are a partner you can remove
Ad spendOften a percentage, so the fee grows with your budgetNever a percentage; the budget sits on your card

Why publish the fee at all?

Because it loses the wrong enquiry before it costs anyone a call. A buyer who wants the cheapest possible price can see in a second that we are not it, and a buyer who wants to know what a serious engagement costs gets the answer without a discovery call designed to find out what they can afford. It also holds us to something. A price that is on the site cannot be quietly different for the client who negotiated harder, and a scope that is on the site cannot shrink in month three.

What does the number in the contract actually mean?

It is a target, not a guarantee, and the difference matters. On the first call you tell us what the business needs, in orders, enquiries or revenue, and we say out loud whether we think we can get there and by when. If we cannot, we say that too. If we can, the figure goes into the contract as the thing the work is measured against, reported weekly. By week four you know whether the plan is working. A guaranteed number would be a reason to hide a bad month; a written target is a reason to show it.

What the first month looks like

  1. 01

    A thirty-minute call, no deck

You bring the number and the account. We tell you whether we can and what it would cost, using the fees already on the site.

  2. 02

Week one: access and the plan

Ad account, pages, store, analytics. A written plan that names what runs and what it should show.

  3. 03

Week three: the first creative is live

Made here, seen by you first, running in your account.

  4. 04

    Week four: the figures

Spend beside return, in a note you can read in two minutes, with the monthly call to go deeper.

  5. 05

    Any month: the exit

Thirty days’ notice, in writing, and nothing to migrate because nothing was ours.

What a typical agency does better than us

  • Scale. A large agency can run a campaign across eight markets at once; we run a handful of accounts with care.
  • Presence. A local agency can be in your office on Tuesday. We are in Karachi and on a screen.
  • Specialists. A big shop has someone who has done only email for a decade. Our people are senior and few.
  • A name you have heard of. We were founded in 2026 and our reputation is the work page, not a logo wall.
  • Coverage around the clock. We keep New York hours; a problem at midnight in Manhattan waits until the morning.

The record, dated

The Gallery, a personalised newborn brand in Pakistan: every campaign to July 2026 returned $5.20–$6 for every $1 of ads, counted as orders in the inbox where the sale closes. Frank Zoller Authentic History, a militaria auction house in the United States: a listing platform that reads photographs against 32,000 past items and fills what used to be 1,250 hand-typed lots, live since the auction of 16 August, 400+ hours saved. Each case page carries the date its figures were last confirmed, because a number without a date is a number you cannot weigh.

FAQ
Is there a Drifted Marketing review I can read?

There is no reviews page. The case pages carry the figures, the client’s company name and the date each was verified, and on the first call you can ask for a reference.

Where is Drifted based, and who runs it?

Karachi, at 111-C, Murtaza Commercial, DHA Phase 8, founded in 2026 by a founder who still does the work. The studio keeps New York hours for its clients abroad.

Is there a minimum term or a setup fee?

Neither. Thirty days’ notice, monthly billing, and the accounts were in your name before we touched them.

Who will I actually talk to?

The founder and the people making the work: creative, operations and video. There is no account manager, which is a feature and, on a busy week, a cost.

What if we miss the number?

You will know by week four, because it is reported weekly against the target in the contract. We change the plan or we stop; what we do not do is reframe the miss as awareness.

No deck. No discovery theatre. One metric, one date, in the contract.

Tell us the number.
And the date.

That’s usually the sign. Bring us the number you need to hit — the call is 30 minutes, there’s no deck, and if we can’t get you there we’ll say so.
