Get found by the people searching
We make your business easier to find on Google: the pages fixed so they answer what people type, articles written on the questions your buyers search, and your Google Business listing kept alive with posts. For the Gettysburg Museum of History we wrote the event page so the people searching for the anniversary weekend land on the museum's own site. For Frank Zoller Authentic History we rebuilt zollerhistory.com.
In detail
What does a search visibility agency do every month?
Four things, in order of how much they matter. It fixes the pages you already have so each one answers one question plainly in its title, its first paragraph and its headings. It writes new pages on the questions your buyers type that you have no page for. It keeps your Google Business listing current, with posts, hours, photographs and replies to reviews. And it reports which searches brought people to which page, so the next month's work is chosen from evidence. Links from other sites help; we earn them with pages worth linking to rather than buying them.
Pages that answer, not pages that rank
Google shows the page that answers the question best, and it has become good at telling. The old craft of repeating a phrase until the page ranked is finished. What works now is the thing that always should have: a page whose title says what it is, whose first paragraph answers the question, and whose headings are the follow-up questions a real person would ask. That is also what an assistant like ChatGPT quotes when it answers instead of Google, so the same page does both jobs.
For the Gettysburg Museum of History, that meant the event page for the anniversary weekend, the museum's own listing, and the Foundation's new site, each written so that someone typing the event's name lands on the museum's page and not on a ticket reseller's. No figure is published for that work yet, and we would rather say so than invent one.
For Frank Zoller Authentic History it meant rebuilding zollerhistory.com in an archival, institutional direction, with the accession card as the signature element, so a collector searching for a piece finds a page that reads like a catalogue and not like a banner.
The method, month by month
- 01
Read the searches, not the rankings
We start from what people actually type: your search console, your reviews, the questions your sales inbox answers every week. A ranking for a phrase nobody searches is a trophy, not a result.
- 02
Fix what exists first
Four page optimisations a month on Starter, eight on Standard. Titles, first paragraphs, headings, the speed of the page and whether it works on a phone. The cheapest wins are on pages you already own.
- 03
Write what is missing
One researched article a month on Starter, two on Standard, each on a question your buyer types and nobody has answered well. Written to be read, which is the only way it gets linked.
- 04
Keep the listing alive
Google Business posts every month, hours and photographs kept current, reviews answered. For a local business this listing is the home page most customers will ever see.
- 05
Report by page
Which searches, which pages, which enquiries. One page a month, in plain words, with the next month's list drawn from it.
How long does search visibility take to show?
Longer than ads and shorter than people fear. A fixed page can move within weeks; a new article on a question nobody else has answered can bring visitors in its first month; a competitive phrase in a crowded category can take the better part of a year. We say which is which before we start, so you are not waiting on the slow kind thinking it is the fast kind. Anyone promising the first page in thirty days is describing a phrase nobody searches.
Search against ads
| Search visibility | Paid ads | |
|---|---|---|
| Speed | Weeks to months | Days |
| Cost per visitor over time | Falls, because the page keeps working | Constant, because every visitor is bought |
| What you own at the end | The pages, the articles, the listing | The account history and the creative |
| Where it fails | A product nobody has learned to search for | A budget too small to learn from |
| How we scope it | Starter's search option, or inside Standard | Starter's ads option, or Tailored |
What we will not do to your site
- Buy links. A bought link is a liability with a delay on it.
- Publish pages written for a crawler. If a person would not read it, it does not go up.
- Promise a position. Google does not sell those and neither do we.
- Hide the method. You get the list of changes every month, and you could make them yourself with enough time.
- Take the site hostage. The pages, the logins and the articles are yours from the day they are made.
The questions that follow.
Do you do local search for a shop or a museum?
Yes. For a business with a door, the Google Business listing and the event or product pages are the whole job, and we run both as one piece of work.
Is this the same as being cited by ChatGPT?
It overlaps. A page that answers a question plainly is what both Google and an assistant pick. We have a separate page on AI search for the parts that differ.
What does it cost?
Starter's search option is $2,000 a month: four page optimisations, one researched article and Google Business posts. Standard doubles the volumes and adds the content and the emails.
Do you need access to my website?
Yes, to make the page changes. If you would rather make them yourself, we send the exact edits each month and you apply them.
Will you write for my category if you do not know it?
We research it before we write, and we send the first article for your correction. If the category needs a specialist writer, we say so and run the search work around them.
The price is published.
Where this leads.
No deck. No discovery theatre. One metric, one date, in the contract.
