Apps built in Karachi, priced to earn

Drifted builds AI apps and web apps from Karachi for clients in Pakistan, the United States and the Netherlands. We decide how an app earns or what it saves before we build it, and the scope is written to that number. The proof: a listing platform that took 400+ hours off a US auction house’s desk, and a Pakistani thrift marketplace app built in twenty-three prompts.

In detail

What does an app development company in Karachi build?

The things a campaign cannot fix. A marketplace where a category that lived in DMs gets listings, search and a trust layer. A hosted tool that reads photographs and fills a spreadsheet nobody wanted to type. A writer that drafts a shop’s product listings in its own voice. A storefront built around the purchase. We build AI apps, web apps and installable web apps, and we are honest that most businesses do not need one: if a Shopify theme and a good ad would get you the number, we will say so on the first call and save you the build.

How do you price an app build?

Against the number it has to produce. A build that saves a team three days a month and a build that opens a new revenue line are different jobs, so they are priced differently, and neither is priced by the hour. The Tailored tier on our pricing page is where product work lives: the scope is written to your number, the fee is agreed before anything is built, and it does not change when the build takes a week longer. What it excludes is stated too. Hosting, model costs and app-store fees are yours and run through your own accounts.

How a build runs

  1. 01

    Scope against the money

Before any design, we write down how the app earns or what it saves, who uses it on a Tuesday, and what the first version must do. Anything that does not move the number waits.

  2. 02

    First build, fast

We build the first working version with AI tooling and a knowledge base that holds the product’s rules, so the second and third builds do not forget the first. ehsaan’s first build took twenty-three prompts.

  3. 03

    Review with real data

The app meets the real catalogue, the real photographs, the real customer. For the auction house that meant 32,000 past items ingested before the first live auction.

  4. 04

    Launch and handover

The repository, the hosting account and the documentation are in your name. If you stop working with us, the app keeps running.

Questions to ask any app company in Karachi

  • Who owns the code, and is the repository in my name or yours?
  • What happens to the build when the developer on it leaves?
  • What does the first version cost, and what does the full version cost, as two separate figures?
  • Where is the data hosted, and whose account pays for it?
  • How does this app earn, in a sentence, and what happens if it does not?
  • Can I see a build that is live, with the client named?

Two builds, two kinds of number

Frank Zoller Authentic History runs militaria auctions in the United States. Every sale meant 1,250 lots typed by hand before a single item could go live. We built a hosted platform that reads the photographs, pulls each item’s history from a 32,000-item reference set and fills the upload template, flagging only the uncertain lots for a human. It went live for the auction of 16 August and has taken 400+ hours off the client’s desk.

ehsaan is Pakistan’s thrift marketplace, built for a category that only existed in comment sections and WhatsApp groups. The app, the brand and the launch were built as one thing: a nineteen-section knowledge base holds the product’s rules, and every design decision was tested against whether a stranger would send money for a stranger’s jacket.

Do you build for clients outside Karachi?

Yes, and most of our product work is abroad. The auction platform is for a client in the United States, and we built an AI writer for Oorlogsspullen, a militaria shop in the Netherlands, that drafts its product listings. The studio keeps New York hours, so a client in Pennsylvania or Amsterdam gets a reply inside their working day rather than the next morning. The build itself does not care where you are; the handover does, which is why everything is documented and in your name before we call it done.

FAQ
How long does a first build take?

Weeks, not quarters, for a first working version, because the rules are written before the code. The full version depends on what the first one teaches us.

Who owns the code?

You do. The repository, the hosting and the documentation are in your name from the start, and they stay with you on thirty days’ notice.

Do you build mobile apps or web apps?

Mostly web apps, including installable ones that sit on a phone like a native app. A native app is built when the number needs it, not because it sounds better.

Will you maintain it after launch?

Yes, as a scoped monthly arrangement if you want one. If you would rather hand it to your own developer, the documentation is written for that.

Do you build with AI?

Yes, openly. AI tooling gets the first version built fast; the knowledge base and the review with real data are what make it hold.
