Meta ads that end in a sale
We run Meta and Instagram ads for small ecommerce brands and report one number: what came back for every dollar you spent. Ten creatives go live, the losers are cut every week, the winners are rebuilt. The spend stays in your own ad account. For The Gallery, every campaign to July 2026 returned $5.20–$6 per $1.
In detail
What does a Meta ads agency do each week?
Reads the account before anything else: which creative is spending, which is selling, and which is spending without selling. Then it cuts. The weakest creative comes out, a new one goes in, and the budget moves toward what is working. The rest of the week is building the next creative and writing one short report that says what changed and why. If an agency cannot tell you what it cut this week, it did not look.
Why the sale happens in the DMs
Most small ecommerce brands are told to send traffic to a product page and optimise for purchases. That advice assumes the buyer checks out alone. Personalised products, made-to-order products and anything with a sizing question do not sell that way. The buyer has a question, and the sale closes in the conversation that answers it.
The Gallery sells personalised newborn wear in Pakistan. The checkout was already the inbox, so we built the campaign to start conversations and tracked the sale where it actually happened. Ten creatives, one job each: get the right person to send the first message. Every campaign to July 2026 returned $5.20–$6 for every $1 of spend, and that was every campaign, not an average across a good quarter.
If your buyer checks out alone, we optimise for the purchase. If your buyer asks first, we optimise for the message. The platform does not decide this. Your customer does.
How the first month runs
- 01
Week one: read the account
We open your ad account and your store before we touch a campaign. What sold last quarter, what it cost to sell, and which audiences the pixel already knows. If there is no history, we say so and start smaller.
- 02
Week two: build ten creatives
Ten, not two. Enough variety to learn which hook, which product and which format your buyer stops for, and enough that one dud does not sink the month. Stills, short video, a carousel, each written to start the right conversation.
- 03
Week three: go live
The first creative is live by week three. The budget is split across the set, small enough that nothing wins by accident and nothing is starved before it has been seen.
- 04
Week four: the number
By week four you have a figure against the one we agreed on the first call. From here the loop is weekly: cut the losers, rebuild the winners, report in one page.
How much should a small brand spend on Meta ads?
Enough to learn something in a week. A budget that buys a handful of clicks a day cannot tell you which creative is winning, so you would be paying a management fee to watch noise. Our fee is flat and separate from the spend; the spend is yours, paid to Meta from your own card, never routed through us and never a percentage. If the honest answer is that your budget is too small to manage, we say that on the call and point you to the piece on the minimum spend worth managing.
Meta ads with us, and the usual way
| Drifted | A typical agency | |
|---|---|---|
| The spend | Yours, in your own ad account | Often routed through the agency, sometimes with a percentage on top |
| The creative | Ten in rotation, losers cut weekly | Two or three, refreshed when the client complains |
| The number | Return per dollar, reported every week against what was agreed | Impressions and reach, reported monthly |
| The checkout | Wherever your buyer actually buys, including the inbox | The product page, whether or not the buyer uses it |
| When it is not working | We say so, and what we are changing | A new deck |
What we will not do
- Promise a return before we have read the account. Nobody who guarantees a number is telling you the truth.
- Take a percentage of your spend. The fee is flat, so a bigger budget is never our idea.
- Report reach as a result. Reach is a cost; the sale is the result.
- Keep a creative running because it was expensive to make.
- Hold your account. You keep the keys, and if we part, the campaigns and the data stay with you.
The questions that follow.
Do you work with Shopify stores?
Yes. We reconcile what Meta reports against what the store took, every month, because the two never agree and you need to know which one to trust.
Who owns the ad account?
You do. We work inside your business account as a partner and leave when the contract ends. The pixel, the audiences and the history stay yours.
What does it cost?
Starter is $2,000 a month for Meta ads on one account with four new creatives a month, optimised weekly. Larger budgets and more than one platform are priced to the number under Tailored. Ad spend is separate.
Can you run Instagram ads only?
Yes. Instagram and Facebook run from the same account, and we place ads where your buyer is. For a visual product that is usually Instagram, but we let the first fortnight decide rather than assuming.
How soon will I see results?
Work starts in week one, the first creative is live in week three, and numbers land around week four. Anyone promising a result in the first week is reporting noise.
The price is published.
Where this leads.
No deck. No discovery theatre. One metric, one date, in the contract.
